For Midwives

The recognition over many years of midwifery continuity of care as “gold standard” care for women and their families has lead to many changes in the Australian maternity sector. However, there is still much work to do. Midwives Australia recognises that those who want to work in midwifery continuity of care still face many challenges, and we are actively working with government and within the community to address these challenges.
